Summary:

The story centered on Momo Adachi. A former member of the swim team, Momo tans easily and her hair is bleached out; unfortunately, she is stereotyped by her ignorant classmates, and is forced to endure rumors about being an "easy girl" that has had many sexual relationships.Her only friend is Sae, who is actually responsible for spreading the nasty gossip due to her jealousy of Momo.

Momo is in love with Toji, a taciturn baseball player, but the scheming Sae also has her sights set on the same boy. Momo's life is further complicated with the introduction of Kairi Okayasu, a wise-cracking playboy who is determined to make her his. He reveals to Momo that she had saved him from drowning the summer before high school started.

Review:

I don't know how the manga goes or what feelings it delivers because I only watched the anime. And this review is based on that.

The first thing I want to say is that I enjoyed watching Peach Girl as a viewer it made me feel many different emotions: sad and happy, anxious but many times I get so angry at the characters, well it should be normal to feel it for the antagonist but now I practically have something to dislike on everyone, except for Kairi, (even if he's a playboy).

I was especially feeling frustrated near the end because of Momo's indecision. I feel like grabbing her out of the screen and tell her off. But it all got better in the end so I was fine.

It got the happy ending I always want to get from romance stories but I feel like something is missing, like I like it to continue a bit longer!

And oh, I also love the Taiwanese drama but the anime is better because the "Momo" (forgot the Taiwanese names) wasn't that good to act, but the "Sae" and "Kairi" was good.
